Did Cornbread get picked?

He was on my list a few times as a double-secret emergency backup pick.

To Otart Srien, regarding the "Did Iverson say he wouldn't come off the bench, or was it an issue about ability (regarding the Celtics offering him a contract, and the Big 3 vetoing it)

it’s weird that guys have always looked at it like coming off the bench has been such a bad thing bad. I know we went through the situation with Iverson, he didn’t want to come off the bench.-From Ray Allen

Cool...

Three Bulls starters selected in the first 15 picks. Four Bulls starters in the first 29. All five starters(when Rodman was starting) picked by pick number 43. 10 Bulls in the top 95.

Couldn't help but notice a serious lack of Glen Rice in this draft.

On a serious note, I do question how much thought they put into this when Thunder Dan's not picked. Chemistry-wise I think he's a must-draft.

Big O went twice as fast as he did in our draft.

Jack McCallum: Bird and Magic, two guys I covered and admired, were on the board, but I couldn't pass up the second-greatest all-around player (behind Michael Jordan)
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
