Look.  Miami shot over 50% from 3.  Some of that was game plan/lack of D.  Most of it was the team shot lights out.  C's do this fairly often themselves.  The players on the heat are in the league for a reason.  Relax.  It is unlikely to reoccur in this series.  Unfortunate, but one game at a time.

Horrible loss. Embarrassed at home. But I think the Celtics can recover from this. We’ll see.  They should be favored in both games in MIA. Play like a title contender. It will be tough to get this loss out of their heads but that is what they need to do.

Miami owns us for some reason & won without Butler, Rozier & Richardson at our home court but they hit 23 3s so got to stop that on defense & tired of Tatum always complaining if he don’t get a foul call

Woke up today and the sun was risen. New day

Joe looked nervous and like a deer in headlights last night. Similar to Tatum.
Concerning to say the least.
As good as a regular as they had all it did was ramp up the pressure and expectation. Pressure and expectations I don’t think they can handle.

Joe should have never been in charge of this group when other coaches were available to go get, especially when there were missed opportunities to win a ring with this group because of a lack of identity or better yet a backbone.

But at the same time, maybe Tatum should have been more worried about the game tonight, than his "shoe drop". When I see stuff like that, it makes me wonder where our players priorities are.

Come to think of it, I can't remember Bird being distracted by $#i+ like that, then again he wasn't even distracted by a broken orbital bone versus the Pacers. I guess these Celtics are built differently...

My biggest concern is Boston plays so poorly at home in the playoffs. It’s just crazy.

Also in 2008, the Atlanta Hawks an eight seed pulled the highly respected and favored Celtics into a seven game series. In the end that seven game series as well as the one with Cleveland served that Boston team well.

Don’t give up the ship. Game three will tell a lot about this team.

lol not a single poster should be jumping ship in a 1-1 series. The hand slitting on this board if the Celtics lose any playoff game is pretty unbearable.

Not saying the loss was not bad. But the idea the Celtics can’t beat this heat team now because of last nights loss is pretty ridiculous

We lost to a an 8th seed down 2 of its top 3 players at home.

We lost in the same fashion as last year.

To recap, we lost to a bad team at home yet we should be ok because for some.reason....

Title teams don't struggle again teams like the heat.  Denver came back from 20 down against a clown LA team.

We have talent to  win it all, but Joe will hold them back.

We saw the same thing before against this exact same team last year. Wrist slitting is warranted here. I understand losing Game 4 if you're up 3-0 but not at your home floor being 1-1 when the opposing team was down two of their 3 best players

It's not.

It is 1-1 against a lousy team that has no hope of beating us in a series. They won a game. Good for them. They have no chance in this series. Not without Jimmy.

Bad night. Move on to the next game.

Congrats on the heat “not being able to win this series”…even if you’re right it’s about the bigger picture. This loss shows me they aren’t winning the title, just not happening

Looking forward to the end of this seemingly endless wait for draft night.  Tonight we’ll know.  My prediction:  about 8 seconds after the selection at three or the trade down, my brain will have adjusted.  Right now I hope it’s Maye because some of the pundits have convinced me he has the tools.  If it’s someone else, I’ll quickly be convinced by another pundit. Fickle as all heck. But practical too since no one can accurately predict the long/term impact of a draft on draft day.
