Why do you have Bibby and Dunleavy in the first place?

I would drop Mike Bibby and Daniel Gibson.

Bibby because this is likely his last season as a starter and given his age and expected decline, he doesn't hold much value for the future past this season. Gibson because he's the worst player on your team (albeit a good player as a borderline rotation guy or third string PG).

Why do you have Bibby and Dunleavy in the first place?
Dunleavy would be third choice ... but I think he adds enough in the short term to keep him instead of Gibson (rotation player this season, uncertain if he will be in future).

Mike Dunleavy should play better this season now that he has a training camp under his legs and is a full season away from his injury. The lack of summer preparation and training camp hurt him badly last year.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Mike Bibby would be the guy I'd be dropping, but #2 is going to be harder.

Mike Dunleavy has the longest odds of making good things happen for the rest of his career, but if he gets healthy this year you'll be kicking yourself.

Aarron Afflalo shoots 3's, but he'll probably never average over twelve ppg in his career, and his rate of steals/blocks etc are pretty low despite his obvious abilities as a defender.

I think the odds of Rudy Fernandez resigning after his deal in Portland is up are incredibly low. He's going back to Europe. But, in the next season, he's a pretty good guy to lay your bets with. He's Brandon Roy's backup at the 2, and he's Andre Miller's backup at the PG. Brandon Roy will miss some games, and Rudy will be getting those minutes. So, he's a bit of an enigma too.

Honestly Edgar that's a good team you have there. Hard to choose anyone to jettison anyways.

Why do you have Bibby and Dunleavy in the first place?

It was an auction and Mr. Crotor got a little overzealous at the start and spend all of his money on Blake Griffin and Delonte West  ;D
Yup

Rudy Fernandez loves the NBA. He just hates being glued to the bench.I wouldn't consider him a lock to leave. Nowhere close to a lock.

If some team shows him some love and offers him serious minutes, there is still a good chance that he sticks around in the NBA.

Rudy just wants to play and if he can't do that in the NBA, then he'll return to Europe. He would rather be a star in Europe than a bench player in the NBA.

Byron Scott said earlier in the summer that he'd be playing a lot of small backcourts, two PGs backcourts, to best use his roster. So Gibson should get a decent amount of playing time this season. We didn't see it a lot in preseason because Mo Williams was injured ... but to best of my knowledge, Scott still intends to that.

Cleveland = Ramon Sessions and Mo Williams will take all the available PG minutes. Gibson needs the small ball lineups to regular court time. Cleveland should start Sessions and use Mo as a sixth man, but, unfortunately I doubt they do that.

Martell Webster and Wesley Johnson should beat out Corey Brewer for the bulk of the wing minutes alongside Micheal Beasley in Minnesota. Rambis has been disappointed with Brewer's play relative to those two in preseason.

Chris Duhon's play will improve considerably now that he is playing in Orlando on a quality team in a smaller role. He'll be a quality backup PG for the Magic this year.

It has to be Gibson or Bibby. Bibby will still get major time in Atlanta so you might hold onto him and dump Gibson.
