James Harden was able to singlehandedly with a few other guys raise Houston's record from a measly .515 and 9th in the West to a whopping .549 and 8th.  Game changer!

...I guess what I'm saying is, he puts up good numbers but is he really that valuable?
Lead offensive options that score at .600 TS% are pretty darn valuable.

I literally just said to air: "everyone's forgetting about Lillard."

I don't think no one forgot about him the thing is he is 23 and wasnt extremely efficient his first season. I gave Jrue the nod because of defense.

I may be wrong, but I think Lillard played the most minutes last season.

Exactly that is what I was trying to point out Holiday has been in the league for 4 years and is the same age as Lillard, but people make a big fuzz about Lillard since he is a rookie.

I Holiday had been a rookie this year, he would have run away with RotY

TRADE

Houston trades: Greg Monroe, 2.15, 4.23
Denver trades: James Harden, 3.22, 5.22

...What the heck?

Nope, I like where I'm at right now.

Lead offensive options that score at .600 TS% are pretty darn valuable.

And I traded him for Greg Monroe, Damian Lillard (who has a .546 TS%, not bad of a drop off) and still have another 2nd rounder later who could be an all star. I say I like what I got, compare to Harden, some all star big and a decent PG.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.

SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons

Ron, do you check player comparison?

Yes, difference is that Lillard had Aldridge and a much better supporting cast than Holiday. Look at Holiday's FG% by month each month it was declining because he had to do everything since he had such a crappy supporting cast.

Also hence why I said I gave Jrue the nod because of defense.

Good thing is now he has 2 other all stars next to him and I still have good picks.  :D
