Great defensively, but really, really congested offensively.  No significant 3-point threat in the starting line-up.  Extremely dependent on 36 year old post-achilles Chauncey to play a major role - no Rush for the year.  Brand/Green/Young don't offer much offensively off the bench to give you a different look.

Not crazy about the PF rotation either - neither Smith nor Baby are starter caliber in my book.

Disagree and here's my rebuttal.

Deng and are 3 point threats. They may not be hitting their shots this season but these dudes once averaged 40% in a season. Sure the percentage dropped this year, but I dare anyone to leave these two wide open from three.

Before he went down, BBD is averagin 15 and 7 rebounds (albeit on 44% shooting). He's not your All Star starter, but for a dude who drops 15 a game, he's not as bad as you think. And as for Jason Smith, he will give you 4 rebounds, a block, 8 points on 49% shooting in 17 minutes. He is also making 46% of his mid range shots (16-23 feet). That opens it up more for Monta as he can run pick and pops with him.

Brand will also give you a solid 8 a game on 20 minutes, mostly mid range jumpers. And while I agree that Draymond and Young won't give me much offensively, they are energy guys off the bench that will scrap on anything. Besides, I'll have Monta playing 44 minutes a game, the offense will be there.

That and then of course, try scoring on this teams AWESOME defense.

Don't this is entirely accurate, or at least a good accounting of Deng and Iggy.

Deng career number: 33.6% from 3
Career Best: 2009, 40% from 3. But, he only attempted less than 1 3pt shot per 2 games.

More realistically, Deng is around a 35 or 36% shooter from 3, if he's taking 2 or more a game.

Iggy's career number: 32.9% from 3
Career Best: 2012, 39.4% from 3, 3.1 attempts per game

Iggy is a bit more of a mystery, but it is the most likely that last season's shortened NBA season was an outlier, not the norm for Iggy. 34-35% from 3 if he's taking more than 2 a game.

Couple that with Monta Ellis's 23.5% from 3pt range on 3.5 3PA's per contest, your offense indeed has real issues with spacing and efficiency.

like that is always lethal." - Evan 'The God' Turner

Really nice work - Granger/Love/Horford is very daunting up front and you have a good blend of role-player talent in the backcourt.

Not fond of Fields as the sole wing back-up, especially with Brewer already limited - that's your biggest weakness other than the health issues with Love and Granger.

IMO Landry is playing too much, and Livingston should also be a (scrub) as in little playing time. Calderon should play full-time PG

I dont think I'll have problems with spacing at all. All 4 on my starting lineup (and that's Jason Smith over Davis) outside of Ellis are capable mid range shooter.

The big can play pick and pop off of Ellis. Ellis can find them open and they are capable of hitting those.
