I'm not a big fan of Porter.  A chucker who doesn't pass and can't really put the ball on the floor, and a mediocre defender (which is a step up from what he used to be).  Good shooter, and Jokic can get value out of him because of that, but I don't think he's as effective on any other team.

Perfect fit for Denver, ray Allen esque and in his prime.

Joe Mazula offense in microscope

That rant is EXACTLY how I also feel watching this team.
The two superstars are dumb enough as it is. Add in a literally brain-dead coach and you have a huge cluster.
It's incomprehensible to me that players and coaches at this level are playing such bad basketball and seem oblivious to that fact.
If Brad is watching this and is not alarmed, then something is very wrong with our franchise.
The Celtics had the best offense in the NBA this year. Game 2 was terrible but can we please take a deep breath and have a memory that lasts longer than 2 days?

A long memory is the problem.  We all watched last year and are having flashbacks.

Is there a forum friendly term for people that have strong emotional reactions at the first glimpse of adversity? I think if we could come up with a common vocabulary, many would be less offended. I like snowflake, but that might be strong. Maybe something equivalent to woke?

I understand your point, but for this team, the regular seasons have proved to be fool's gold more than once and the flaws they do have get exposed in the playoffs, which are simply a different animal. We have the most talent in the league which allows us to overcome bad coaching during the season. The playoffs are what us critics are concerned with and game 2 was a perfect example of our weak-minded players and incompetent coach failing us. I'm very happy the Celts came out strong and took control of game 3, but I do not trust Joe or Tatum/Brown either, for that matter. Let's both hope that I am wrong and our superior talent can win a title.

I just feel like again, the C's coasted in Game 2 thinking it wouldn't take much to win. It won't cost them this series, but I fear it could maybe even as early as the ECF when they face the Knicks or Sixers. Can't play with your food so many times.

If they just keep playing defense like that then it should be an easy trip to the Finals. They can win even when the 3 isn't falling like tonight.

I actually bet on the Lakers to win, but have to wonder, Lakers started well, had a great first half and lead at halftime against the Nuggets. Will 12th time be the charm?  :P

All about the defense tonight without 3s.

Hopefully, the players and coach will take notice.

At some point one of our starters is gonna get hurt with a 20+ lead late in a game and then Mazzulla will rightfully get scorched by everyone. It's a 22 point lead with 2 mins to go, COME ON BRO

Agree, look what happened to Giannis, pure fluke injury and now the Bucks' are down vs Indy.
They are supposed to be our biggest threat getting to the finals.

Now the day would be complete if the Lakers get swept tonight

I get that we all hate the lakers as Celtics fans but a lakers win tonight means
A) more basketball
B) more wear and tear on the nuggets

The nuggets are unquestionably winning that series but wouldn’t hurt my feelings to see them slip up and have to burn some more miles on those legs

Missed the game due to work but looks as though it was a well balanced easy win, good to see! Hoping they don’t somehow have another dud this series.

There is absolutely zero excuse for Boston losing game 2 by double figures at home to a Miami team missing arguably 2 of its top 3 players.  After that loss I was thinking for me to have any confidence in this team today they are going to need to prove to me that game 2 was a major anomoloy by taking game 3 by a very convincing double figure blow-out.

Thankfully they did exactly that.

I did say from the start Miami might get one fluke win in this series...lets hope that's all they get.  If Boston loses more then 1 game to a weakened 7th seed then I'll be deeply concerned about their chances of beating  some of the better teams out there over 7 games.
