Danny didn't want 3 1st rounders so he traded out of the round all together. He could've secured the 12th pick if he offered the 22nd as well. But maybe he had a deal in place to dump Baynes's salary so he couldn't move up using any picks for this year. The 2nd rounder would not have gotten it done but that's not a certainty. Or maybe Charlotte really wanted to secure PJ Washington and thought DA might be interested in him. Too bad. I like what Herro can provide: shooting off the bench.

I remember thinking this was a possibility last night when Riley was up right before Danny and took Herro.

Well FWIW he couldn't be more different from Langford in terms of play style. We'll see how each develop.

I believe it, a deadeye shooter would fill a big need for this team. Whatever caliber player Langford ends up, his skills seem more redundant with what we've already got.

I don't know how you can play Herro, Brown and Tatum together, but in a vacuum Herro wouldn't have been a bad pick per se. I absolutely can see the upside with his shooting and offball-movement. Picking Langford is a bigger problem than losing out on Herro.
