The Pacers picked Goga, when they were already having trouble finding minutes for Sabonas and Turner. Does this mean Sabonas could be available? He might look good in green.

(I’d prefer Turner, but I can’t see a path to landing him that works. Maybe if Hayward re-establishes his value by the deadline he’d be interested in going back to Indiana...?)

I think Sabonis is a great bench player. Less enthusiastic about him as a starter due to his defensive limitations.

I hear that; just assuming he’s not available.

Depends what he costs. Maybe he works as a bench big.

Yeah he seems like a guy who just fits really well as a top tier 3rd big man.

Their coach said he would be playing the 4 a lot this year, which sounds not great to me for the Pacers.

Wonder if they're going to try it out before moving him though.

I think we get too caught  up on position sometimes. Every assumes the Cavs were picking garland for someone since they already have a PG< many assumed Langford was a trade piece since we have many 2-4 types, and same with bigs on the Pacers. I think a lot of times teams just pick the guy they think is the best, since drafting is a major crapshoot.

Still I would agree, a trade for them would make sense. Its easier to play 3 guars or 3 wings, its impossible to play three bigs, and difficult even to play two together.
