I’ll bash him if he keeps Rozier. Otherwise everything he’s done has been understandable, if regrettable in hindsight.

why,  rozier signed for the right price and you can trade him.

I'm not that down on not acquiring Davis (unless they can convince almost every available veteran to sign for SFA, the roster depth is putrid), I'm not convinced he has championship pedigree however, I am concerned about the apparent lack of direction the Celtics have under Ainge and Stevens. Are the Celtics rebuilding or do they believe they're in championship mode? because right now, it feels like they're having an each way bet with neither course presenting as obvious. Furthermore, the outcome of the Brooklyn trade doesn't feel anywhere near as good as it should.

This.

They built a championship-caliber team. Then Hayward broke his leg.

Granted, the Hayward injury was a stroke of bad fortunate but Boston needs to put multiple deep runs together before we can consider them championship-caliber. One swallow does not a summer make.

Ainge couldn't draft his way out of a paper bag.

He drafted Olynyk over Giannis????!!

Bwahahahaha

Nice going, number 44!

And then there's JR Giddens, JaJuan Johnson, Jared Sullinger, Fab Melo, Terry Rozier.

Clueless!!!

Man, this venting feels really good.

I love this thread!!

Guess all the other GM's who selected other players ahead of Giannis are bad drafters too then

I will not blame danny for not trading for non celtic crybabies.

Davis has won nothinh in his career and I dont see lal winning a title in his next 4 years at a minimum.

Screw LA. They will not be the best team in LA next season, much less the west.

No depth. Lebron davis and little else. Thats a joke team and injury prone

Just seems like an old gripe to be bashing him over.
Bashing him for not pursuing PG13, Butler or Kawhi because he was waiting for AD, only to get outbid makes more sense to me, but whatever

What is particularly noteworthy about the Giannis miss is that Danny scouted Giannis himself, and then traded up to pick Olynyk? Really?

Danny’s drafting after pick 10 scares me.

You can criticize Ainge for this and for doing nothing at the deadline to improve the team. But up till Hayward shattered his leg, he had done just about everything correctly trying to rebuild the team.

Were I ownership I'd be looking at his draft record with non-lottery picks and thinking some changes might be in order within the scouting department.  Having 3 picks in this year's first round does not excite me at all - given the organization's recent draft results - though the Time Lord pick grades as an incomplete at this point.

Imagine Dragons! I hope Lakers get Kawhi and Kyrie and the NBA loses viewers because of the lack of competition.

Imagine the battles Bron/Kawhi/Davis can have against Steph/Klay/Durant/Draymond + the top 5 pick the Warriors end up with by tanking this season (LaMelo Ball).
