all we need to do is play smart and not beat ourselves. make adjustments as needed which has been a huge issue with joe schmoe.

run them off the 3 line. do that and we win. MIAMI cannot beat us scoring twos. we have rim and paint protection and we have size over them.

we need a smart inside out game.

Yeah, I figure unless that plans involves getting a healthy Butler, Rozier, Richardson and prime Shaq on the floor for game 5, there's not much they can do to stop the Celtics.

The Heat players love to talk and make bold predictions. But honestly...this is not about any Miami gameplan. It is all about the Celtics playing locked in esp on defense. Their game plan will be to shoot as many 3s as possible against Boston.

We still have not see a good 3 point shooting game from the Celtics since game 1.

We all know that if this was last year's team we'd likely lose game 4 and possibly game 5 largely due to lack of focus. Let's see if this year's team really is different.

their way better game plan is probably some version of get more 3s up and hope they go in....

I'm sure they'll want to be more physical, so that will be an interesting battle early.

The different game plan probably involves getting more physical with JT/JT/KP, and then jacking up as many 3s as they can.

So just start the game out and play with force on both sides of the ball, and chase them around off the 3 point line.

This is where we need guys like Horford and Hauser to knock down the open looks, because MIA will focus a lot on JB/JT/KP and probably leave Holiday and our bench guys open from 3. Force them to make it. In Game 1 I thought MIA's strategy was similar the issue was, Hauser and Pritchard killed them from outside. Didn't have that same pressure in Game 2 though, our guys bricked open looks besides just MIA knocking down 3s.

Just need to put some pressure on Miami, we can easily overwhelm them with talent anyways. Ultimately just play tough defense on them and you're good. I think last year was a bit misleading in the sense that, MIA shot amazing but I really didn't think our defense was good that whole series either. Smart looked like he didn't care and G-Will/Brogdon/Timelord were playing hurt. Caleb Martin went off but it felt like he and the others had open looks often. We've already played great defense in more games this series than last year's ECF. Holiday in two of the games has hounded them. Just need it more consistently.
