what was up with Wade dunking at the end of game 5? Philly had given up and let him cross half court then he goes and dunks with ~.5 seconds left on the clock. line was Heat +10 in the morning paper(first thing i thought of when it happened)

im surprised nobody has brought it up yet as it was a very poor show of sportsmanship and not something i would have associated with Wade in the past. is he trying to catch Lebron in the hate department?

I was watching the game with my girlfriend and said "what in the world is he doing" when he went up for that dunk. I'm not going to go nuts about it but I did think it was kind of strange.
The game was over and all he needed to do was hold on to the ball.

I thought it was classless. Just classless.

I never root for this kind of stuff but after the dunk I was kind of hoping one of the Sixers would bounce the ball off Wade's head or something.

Remember when Ricky Davis shot at his own basket to try to get a triple-double and the Utah guy immediately just bodychecked him for being such a tool?  Kinda like that.  Classless move by D-Wade.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty classless...I was suprised by it too because Wade doesn't seem like the type to do that sort of thing.

Can't imagine the outrage Lebron would get if he did that though.

I'm sure it had something to do with that statistic about the Heat's shooting in the last 10 seconds of a game.

Lebron was 1-8 and D Wade was 0-5.  Well now he's 1-6

It is encouraging, however, to know that such silly things  can actually get in D Wades head like that.

I was hoping for the same thing. Philadelphia just took the high road.

And let me just reinterate exactly how ridiculous what Wade did was; PHILADELPHIA took the high road. PHILADELPHIA.

That's how low-brow the Heat are. Man I'm so looking forward to this.

According to LeBron, Philly was "breakfast"...

Quote
LeBron James playfully dismissed the Sixers as "breakfast," which was consumed not without a couple of hard swallows Wednesday, and now we get to see: Will the Heat enjoy their lunch, or have it handed to them?

However, as James said, it's lunchtime for a Heat team looking for its just desserts.

He's mad LeBron averaged more points than him during the season so he's trying to win the post season.

When I watch a Heat game I think of a battle during Lord of the Rings.  The camera only focuses on 3 guys who get all the glory and 2 of them are only in it to count how many kills they can get and one-up the other (although if you follow that metaphor through it actually means Bosh is the king).
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I'm hoping LeBron's "lunch" consists of a hot cup of fail, a generous portion of crow, and a thick slice of humble pie for dessert.

The one silver lining of that play was that it pushed their lead up to 6, keeping their abysmal record of games decided by 5 points  ;D

It is interesting that the o/u was 187 and that dunk made a lot of people very unhappy (and of course some happy).

i hadn't checked on the over/under but i did think about it. imagine if the line had been anything from 4 to 6
