You've probably all noticed that certain "buttons" on in the forums -- such as the "quote" option -- disappear until you hover over the post in question.  The reason for this is to give the blog a more clean look at times when you don't need to use that function.

The question is, do you like it?  For those who use the feature on their phones, do they like it there?  (I believe, rather than hovering, you have to click on the post to see the buttons).

Feedback will be a big factor in what we do here.  (And yes, we will be addressing the quotation mark / question mark bug.)

It's also copy-pasted apostrophes.

I dig the disappearing buttons -- makes it easier to read. As does the automatic cap on the last 4 quotes being used in a post. That was a great change.

I do not like the disappearing quote and modify buttons and they are sometimes harder to get to appear then just hovering. I don't care at all about the others that disappear (report to mod, etc).

Hate it.  It doesn't always appear either when I drag my cursor.

Yeah, not a big fan. I can't quite figure out what causes them to appear or not appear, because hovering doesn't always do the trick.

Not at all. On my computer it is simply annoying but it makes posting from my phone range from difficult to impossible.

I don't really like it in either desktop or phone, but I really hate it on my phone.  Desktop I find it unnecessary, while on the phone I find the feature gets in the way.

Same here. Annoying at times.

nope, don't care for it.  while you're asking about what's good or not, I also miss the 'go to top' and 'go to bottom' buttons that the forums used to have.  one more thing that would be appreciated --> a 'reply' button at the bottom of the forum thread instead of just the one at the top.

I have reply buttons in both places. Is it a setting?

No. Keep things simple... that's always the best.

And I'll add, is quite annoying.

It doesn't bother me too much but if I had to choose would rather have the quotes button showing. It doesn't make things bloated still simple and easier to quote. Good stuff on the quotes fix reading posted articles can be a pain. Lol

it's more than just quotes or apostrophes.  I tried posting a yen symbol last night it turned into a question mark
