I love it and I'm trying not to think about it. I'm really just trying to live long enough to see it and i have no doubt it will be better than Batman Rises which was ok.

Loved the book but do they really need to make 3 movies for the darn thing? Especially when it looks exactly like LOTR?

True that some other movies like the Star Wars prequels and Godfather 2 flashbacks made things look different but Middle Earth is notorious for never changing much and very long lived characters

I think it is going to kick butt!  Jackson is a good handler of the source material.   You can never please all but he did a remarkable job of pleasing both a huge fanbase and newcomers with LOTR.   I expect the same of the Hobbit but with more humor.

Really can't wait but I hope he can pull off Thorin being this great looking youngish looking dwarf instead of the greybeard I imagined him to be.
