I wish Brad would experiment more with Tacko on Embid.  What the heck, no one else can stop him, at least he has the weight and length to prevent Embid from bulldozing in. Theis, R Williams and even Thompson really are ineffective one on one defending him.  Concede the outside 3 pointer; he was hot last game, but so what.  It is the season to experiment on stuff like this.  Home court advantage this season won't likely be important, even in June.

Supposedly we signed Thompson to defend guys like Embiid. Hopefully he performs better than he did on Wednesday...

Safe to say Kardashian got owned by Embiid again tonight

I think we can safely say Brown has surpassed Tatum as our best player at the moment, and is the clear leader of the team.

As soon as Embiid started whining and laying on the floor in the 3rd quarter (after 3 the C's played great defense without fouling)---the Game changed in Philly's favor...Refs called bogus foul on TT right away after the timeout.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

I’m so disheartened watching Teague and Williams. The bench is legit worse than last year. Ainge needs to use the TPE for legit help on the bench.

I swear Tristan Thompson has shrunk 2-3 inches since he signed here...Dude was a beast for years, now he can't grab a rebound for crap.

Dude has no lift at all, and it's exacerbated by the fact that he fumbles every ball he gets his hands on.  I don't know if he's just heavy and out of shape right now, or if he has just always been limited athletically and I didn't notice because he was in Cleveland.  I was previously under the impression that he was a good athlete, though.  Maybe I was wrong.

He has been pretty bad for us so far.

We still don’t have anyone who can solve the Embiid problem
Our problems are hitting open shots and having an extra two way wing to keep Harris and Simmons occupied.
I’m not giving up on Langford. I still like him and think he could be that guy.

What exactly do you like about Langford?

Technically, you are right, since Tatum
Hasn’t played in 2 weeks.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Yep - I thought those two were going to be a big plus for this team, both because of their respective talents and their veteran guidance.
I would rather have had Turner and McDermott if Hayward had not simply gone for the money in Charlotte. Or maybe he saw the opportunity with the Hornets to be the #1 guy again, which he would have had to share in Indy. Being top dog seems to suit him much better - he has flourished this season.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

I’m kind of disappointed in him too but didn’t they say on Weds that he leads the NBA in offensive boards?

Where the hell was Kemba when it mattered in the 4th quarter? Those garbage time points don’t count. I think it’s time to come to grips with he is just not very good. smh

This team is becoming quite a concern. But it showed when the best signings we got were Tristan Thompson and Jeff Teague.

CBS (or the team) ignored Kemba when Philly was making its 4th quarter run. Instead, we got a steady diet of Smart turnovers and missed layups (Altho he did draw a foul vs Embiid once), a missed shot by TT, and a tough JB post up which he missed vs. Simmons.

Get the ball out of Smart’s hands!! Cmon CBS!

I think we likely would’ve still lost (C’s couldn’t defend Embiid all night and couldn’t stop Simmons down the stretch) but the game would’ve been a lot closer or maybe even stealable (with a few lucky bounces)
