LOL at the whole 2nd half of page 5.

Seeing our defense really put the clamps on is really a thing of beauty.

....and games like this is why Paul Pierce will always be my favorite basketball player.

If we keep it close, O'Neal will disappear in the 4th. He always has been the anti-Mr. Clutch.

I told you!!!

What, do you have some black magic shenanigans going on out there in TN?

Nah I think he just remembers watching us play JO in the playoffs when he was with Indiana.  haha.

  • Let's Go Celtics
I got home 15 minutes ago, saw everyone saying Pierce was having an awful game.  Must've been quite the turnaround, that was a pretty awesome quarter.  I can't wait to see the highlights.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

Pierce sounds like he has a cold, or is sick or something.

Not this time. Just 12 years of watching the most non-clutch all-star caliber player in the league

Yeps. And he was always coughing during the game.

Man, when p-dub gets in a rhythm, he is absolutely deadly. Drives, pull-ups, fades, bombs, assists--the package.

That, plus completely denying JON room in the paint was the win.

Pierce had a great game but Sam Mitchell is an awful coach. Kapono on Pierce? What a dope!!!

The one near the end where he drove the lane was like something I try in horse.

I can make those sometimes......

They said Pierce was 2 points away from breaking the franchise record for most points scored in the 4th quarter.

I wonder if it was his own record.  I know he had like 19 in the 4th against the Nets in that historic come from behind win in the ECF years ago.  But I wonder if that factors in b/c it was the playoffs, some records are weird like that.

yeah what was up with that.  Even when Ray Allen came back in the game, he had Anthony Parker covering Ray, and kept Kapono on Pierce.
