It really is scary that we've become a "live by the 3, die by the 3" team. We can't win any other way

become?  we've been one since Brad arrived.  we're just really blatant about it now

True, but we were still able to win games by other means, primarily defense if needed. This was especially true last year for most of the season. This year? I mean, we're 26-1 when shooting 40%+ from 3, 22-22 when below. And that's not some small sample size either

Eh, both Brad and Ime emphasized threes, but nothing to this extent. It's exacerbated because we've went purely analytics with almost exclusively threes or layups with seemingly most of the upticks in threes.

I looked at the numbers a month or so ago, and we were shooting something like over 6 more threes per game than last year. Insane.

Rob being out there just improves our defense vastly. Guards from opposing teams aren't just running by us for layups with Timelord manning the paint

The Kings court and crowd is awesome. That'll be such an electric environment come playoffs 

I have been considering a move to somewhere else in california, and Sac is one of the places I am considering.
They do love their team.

Thing is, the Kings' defense and rim protection is just awful, too, so there's no reason not to attack the rim. I think they're a bottom five defense in the league; you have to take advantage of that.

We are complaining about the same thing we have for years regardless of the coach. The bad habits do not die for this team. They go away for a little while then when things get tough they come back. They aren’t willing to attack the paint enough consistently.
