At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

C's playing a really solid game so far despite the inability to guard Mitchell.  would love to seem them play this way all game and not let up like they've been doing lately

Yeah, Scal is right. We're playing much more like we were at our peak tonight than we have been. And that's been the way - when we're down a few guys, we play the right way much more often than when we're healthy.

And that makes me think that it's just an entitlement, energy, and focus issue. We feel like we don't have to play hard when healthy and we'll out-talent the other team. Just no idea where we got that sense of entitlement from.

(We're also hitting our threes - which changes the energy.)

This is already the best Grant game in the past few weeks lol

Go figure, he doesn't pump fake open shots and hits them

Helps when the 3's fall. However I think there's a bit of truth to what you're saying.

Also possible cavs are pulling a Boston and expecting an easy win
Still don't believe in Joe.

Also - notice that Grant is going STRAIGHT UP with those shots. He's not doing the stupid pump fake, which throws off his rhytm.

Also notice that the pace is so much better tonight.

I do think Tatum has something to do with that. He walks the ball up a lot. We're so much better when we push the ball.

Yep. When the team has to rely on each other instead of watching one guy try to carry them they play team ball. Bench players are more hungry as well. Would rather have seen Joe trust his guys more than play starters that get bored of the regular season.

I do hope Joe read this. a simple adjustment of not letting Tatum hog the ball will solve our offense issue.

agreed.  saw that a lot late in the game last night.  Tatum brings the ball up and he almost always walks it up.  team needs to get it in the hands of one of the PGs and let them bring it up to initiate the offense.  I get having Tatum start off the offense with the ball in his hand is cutting out the middlemen on offense but he takes too long to get anything going.
