Grant said “I’m gonna make both” to Mitchell and he bricked both

That basically sums it up

I think right now a lot of these teams don’t fear us. In fact some of them are probably laughing at us especially NY and CLE

Yep. Here it is…  :blank:

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I'd have to go back and watch again to break this down, but our off-ball movement really got stagnant in the fourth quarter and overtime.

Often we gave the ball to Jaylen and expected him to... just attack the entire defense on his own, I guess?  We'd set a pick to get a different (not even necessarily better) matchup for him, then clear out to the sides and do nothing for the rest of the possession.  The Cavs were sending two extra bodies at JB as soon as he got a foot inside the three-point arc, but nobody was even trying to make themselves available for a potential cut or kickout on these possessions.  They just sat in passing lanes the Cavs already had closed off.

It can be tricky to assign blame on plays like this.  Sometimes you need guys to be exactly where they're supposed to be, and adlibbing can lead to some ugly passes into the first row.  At the same time, stagnation and a hero shot can't be the ideal for our late-game offense.  We need to do better, and if that means gambling a bit that Tatum or Brown can spot the guys who are actively looking for space, then so be it.
