lol...I actaully hit a similar shot by accident in the high school gym.  I had made a 3/4 court shot from opposite free throw line.  My friends were like "no way, do it again"  and being all cocky I said "ok"...So I chucked the ball and it hit the midcourt divider on the ceiling, bounced by the top of the key and went into the hoop behind me.

I used to be pretty good at making silly shots.  I called them the "Hall of Impossible Shots"...It was the fundamentals I wasn't so hot at.
Yup

One day in high school we had phys. ed. and
one of my friends left his own class to come
and talk to me about some stuff we were going
to do after school. Probably something with beer
and girls, if I'm not mistaken  :) Anyways...
We talk a bit and arrange to meet after school
and as soon as my friend is on his way out, he
picks up a basketball (we were about to play),
procedes to hurl it through the gym, hits nothing
but net at the other end and then leaves without
saying another word. One of the craziest things
I ever saw and one of those things that just stays
with you, even after 15 years. Beautiful.

One day when I was middle school aged, I was at some chucky-e-cheese-esque arcade for a birthday party and saw a cute girl standing by one of those claw vending machines with the stuffed animals and the crane.   For the heck of it, I took one of my tokens and smoothly strolled over there... flipped the token in... two quick joystick actions and a drop... I landed a plush chihuahua on my very first attempt... casually grabbed it from the reward bin and smoothly walked off like I did that kind of thing all the time.

Not a day goes by that I don't regret not tossing the girl the plush chihuahua.   To think... the two of us 12 year olds could have lived happily ever after.   I wonder where she is now...   she's probably fat now.   Typical chick... getting fat after middle school.    The chihuahua stuffed animal is now my cat's boyfriend and has two missing ears.

I live alone... with a cat... a 14 year old stuffed chihuahua with two missing ears... and lots of Boston Celtics posters on my wall.  I like to think the aforementioned moment is where it all went wrong.

LOL, blame it on the stuffed animal.
It was worth a Tommy Point.

PS. I have three cats, a girlfriend,
a son and no Celtics posters  ;D

I was practicing some half court shots before a freshmen game and my coach told me I needed to be working on shots I'll actually take during the game.

Well of course, right as the 1st quarter was winding down I hit a shot right about at the half court line as the clock expired.

Coach just smiled at me as I walked to the bench.

Later that year he kicked me off the team but that's another story.

That was by far the best post I have ever seen on here or any board for that matter.  A TP doesn't even do it justice.
