Ugh. Absolutely terrible.

These kind of injuries turn my stomach.....
-
Spurs season just took a big turn for the worse
-
now they can tank like they did in '96 (Duncan)

I like that the loss of Dejounte Murray is the same as the loss of David Robinson.

Those 2 All-Stars they've got will probably get in the way of any tanking efforts, alongside Pop in his seeming last years as a coach

Yeah Aldridge and DeRozan are far too good for the Spurs to tank. Plus they still have Gasol and Gay along with Mills, Belinelli, Bertrans, Poeltl, and Forbes.
That is still a 40ish win team, even in the west.

Heart wrenching, man. All injuries suck, but Murray's been on the up and up for an intriguing Spurs team.
This injury takes away from their grit and balls in a serious way.

Sucks, I enjoy watching Murray. Lonnie Walker has an unexpected opportunity to play this year. I guess Derrick White too.

Of course not, but when I read the comment from the link that the "Spurs can't catch a break" my mind did turn immediately to Robinson. Probably the most positive outcome from an injury in sports since Wally Pipp.
Bottom line is it's too bad for Murray. The Spurs I actually don't feel too bad for. They ruined a perfectly good tank for us.

Flip em to the green and desperate for success Suns for a treasure trove of assets and picks.

White out 6-8 weeks now. Spurs guards are dropping like flies.

All three are currently injured. Murray has a torn ACL, Walker has a torn meniscus, and White has a torn plantar fascia.
DeRozan, Mills, Belinelli, and Forbes are looking like the SAS guard rotation for the next two months.
