I think you want the #1 seed. You don't want to have to win 2 game 7s on the road again

All it takes is losing a home game to lose home-court advantage, and last year's home record was abysmal albeit their road record was exceptional.

I think this team needs to continue winning games whether at home and on the road. But you know what the infamous Doc Rivers say..."the playoffs don't start until you win on the road"

haven't read the game thread, but must say I thought the Heat looked pretty darn good, despite not having Jimmy Butler.  An exceptional performance  by Tatum was required. This game was close until the last  2 minutes.   Struss has become such a good shooter, and doesn't need much space to get a good shot off.  Bam is a stud.

I felt the same way. I was expecting the Celtics to have an easier time with them with Butler out, and the Heat stayed in it until the end despite Tatum's 49 points. It was not due to poor play by the Celtics either, the Heat were really good.

hoping that last night was Miami at their best and that Friday they're back to playing at the level they've been at this season which would in theory make for an easier night for us such that Tatum doesn't have to have a monster game for us to win

Weird , but seems like , Boston and Miami reverse the home court advantage a lot over the years .
