No
Been watching the NBA since I was a kid in the mid-60's.
Always liked the Celtics on the ABC Sunday afternoon games, but fell in love during the 1969 playoff run.
Thru the 70's and 80's, I watched a lot of basketball, college and pro.
It started changing in the 90's and has deteriorated to almost unwatchable these days.
The ball is moved with the dribble and the game is played on the edge of a foul or a turnover.
Layups are declined in favor of a contorted pass to a shooter camped out at the 3-point line.
The players celebrate good plays and their team making a run by pointing to themselves and then signaling for louder applause.
There used to be a wide range of playing styles among teams, but now almost all play the same way.
My little-boy heart still loves the Boston Celtics and probably always will, but the rest of the modern game, No Thank You.
