I've made lots of trades along similar lines, but I love this Celtics roster.

The potential variety and depth would be amazing, and it's constructed to compete in the present and future.

I know most believe Hayward is finished, but that isn't the case in my opinion. He is still scoring and assisting for a weak and disjointed Hornets team at an efficient rate. Hayward needs load management, and with the depth the Celtics would have, they can offer adequate rest and minute restrictions.

Tatum would need to lean up, but he could easily operate as a guard on defence, especially next to Smart.

Getting Mobley with bring down the minutes and pressure on Williams III to play injured and help Horford as he ages out.

If you were Cleveland, would you give up Mobley for Jaylen?  I’d say not a snowballs chance in any warm environment.

Garland
Donovan
Brown
[insert name]
Allen

This is a championship contender, plain and simple.

Brown offers them what they are crucially missing...an elite two way wing. Jarrett Allen is an elite rim protector, they don't need Mobley as much as they need Brown.

The Cavs aren't giving Mobley and if we got him you'd think he'd start not come off the bench behind Horford.

I think they’re fine with Lavert.

He had a freak game against the Celtics and is more like a 6th man on a contender. LeVert's defence is usually abhorrent and he's a very streaky shooter, not to mention he's on an expiring deal and has major injury concerns.

Evan Mobley is awesome and cost controlled. He’s one of the least tradable players in the NBA.

I would do it in a New York minute. Evan Mobley is untouchable, though. If we wanted him, we should have traded JB and a pick for Mobley on Mobley’s draft night. Mobley is a very, very special player. So is JB, but Mobley could be a top 5 NBA player by the middle of the decade. I see multiple DPOY awards in his future, too. If we had him and Timelord defending the paint, nobody would ever beat us with easy buckets in the paint and the amount of points we’d get off blocks would be historic.

That's if we can ever get Timelord play 82 games let alone 72 games a year
