Pretty sure that’s after they won one of the championships at Alabama. It’s several years old.
Quoting Nick from the now locked Ime thread:

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

It is probably after a regular season victory over Tennessee.  There's a long-time ritual of the victor of that game smoking cigars.

Was that after a game when he was Tua’s backup and only had to carry a clip board? I can’t believe Nick Saban would let a guy who had no regard for his conditioning start. Maybe Nick’s gone soft.

Nope.  It was in 2020 after beating Tennessee.  QBs don't need to be in shape if they're completing 77% of their passes.

If people consider that jacked I’m feeling pretty good about myself. Jones definitely leaned out nicely though, good for him. Maybe he’s on the TB12 method?

You need to get out more if you think that is jacked, but seriously, he looks more fit.

Not several. It's from like two years ago this fall. This was posted on the Patsfans forum when he was drafted, comparing the pic to Brady's combine photo.

His college coaches were just fine with him getting a little pudgy.  He was so skinny when he arrived at Alabama that they needed him to put on weight any way possible.  He was too skinny to play or even take hits in practice as a freshman.

Here’s a pic from his freshman year.

He’s come a long way.

He was the scout team QB so I'm sure he took hits.  He didn't play because he was a 3-star recruit with Jaylen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa ahead of him.

The recruiting services had his measurements at 6'2"/6'3" 180 so not that small.
