The draft pick will land from 48-52 or something like that. I have my eye on a couple of guys that can be had that late:

Hugo Besson

Ibou Dianko Badji

Caleb Love

Brady Manek

I will post more info on these guys and others as the draft approaches but these are some guys who caught my eye in the middle/end of the second round.

don't you mean "the next asset to be included in an overpay in Brad's next trade"?

I wonder, what type of trade would it be where the 50th pick in the draft is an overpay?

If we gave up pick 50 take on Davis Bertans terrible contract with the Fournier TPE I’d be frustrated.

But...shooting w size!

Seriously, if the option was letting Fournier TPE expire or taking on 3yrs of Bertrans wouldn't u do it?

I wouldn't mind if the pick is a stash and then we bring over Juhann Begarin and he actually turns out to be ready for the NBA.  He will have had 2 summer leagues and a couple of seasons of Euro-Pro ball.

It would be pretty lucky if the 50th or so pick actually makes the team.  There just are not all that many roster spots available to park someone in while they maybe develop into an actual NBA level player.

I dont really know Bertrans that well....mediocre defender and not as good of shooter as advertised?
What if we received a 2nd rd pick and Bertrans for the TPE? Hahaha

Cause the Fournier TPE is our best ticket to adding to this team without losing a member from our top7. I can't think of anything more disappointing than not using it on something. All in next year! Luxury tax be [dang]ed!

I think you mean — rights to a 17 year old kid in Romania with “high upside” who will stop by summer league a couple times.

Shooting 30% from 3 and can't do anything else.
