I don't think Smart has regressed much. He has actually taken significantly less bad shots imo.

If anything, I think Rozier has regressed the most and has been playing the worst out of all our guys in the regular rotation. Contract year and wanting to get paid like a starting PG has him playing pretty selfishly.
Yeah, Rozier has taken an enormous step backwards. Really hurts both us and he, as we have a harder time winning and he will probably not get paid nearly as much as he expects if he continues to play poorly

Hilarious stuff from realgm and celticsblogs forum

Amazingly different types of fans but stays the same.

Marcus Smart getting defended on real gm with + / -         +38 before yesterdays game.

Terry Rozier getting destroyed on realgm, and also here  ( not complaining, he has been awful)

Terry's + / - ?             +38 before yesterdays game.

Not saying these stats dont or do mean anything, its just funny to see fans use them not as factual evidence of play but to fit the narrative lol. Its awesome, we love our team and we love our players no matter what

I don't see this regression from Smart.  He's just shooting less which is what we want from him.  He's still playing great defense, drawing charges, getting to loose balls, and getting under opponents' skin.  He will still take a shot or two during a game that annoys most of us, but he's averaging less than 5 shots per game while dishing out more than 4 assists with just 1.4 turnovers.  He had 9 assists vs. 7 shots taken last night and drew some key charges.  He does the dirty work.

9 assists and 3 steals last night and he led the team in +/- at +12. Also he was 1/7 from the floor. Seems like the same old Marcus.
