The heel is where the Plantar Fascia is.  I injured mine years ago playing basketball and it still flairs up all the time (I have been told it doesn't heal).  Hopefully nothing serious.  If just run of the mill inflammation, it can be managed.  If something completely different, who knows.

We need Theis and baynes to alternate on the injuries.  ;)
Joking aside I hope Theis will get his minutes when Baynes is back.

Terrible news.  I love what Theis brings to the team

On the plus side, we will get an opportunity to see what Williams can do.

seems recovery is long, three months at best i ve read. i think Pau Gasol had this way way back in LA ,  he was screwed up for nearly a year., he limped around , fans cussed him ,  he really needed. not to play for he year., i think it was during the DH era.   I had this tear  myself several years ago. , took a year for it to go maway completely .  I kept hurting it

no surgery ,  foot heals itself naturally , but its slow and if you need to work or do much , you can set your self back...like me ....and it takes. way longer , than if you can fllow specific rules to slowly increase exercise and not hurt it or go backwards on progression .

Most lkey FEB ...if he is lucky .

Isn't this the same injury that ended Tommy's career?

There was a study done on athletes it was 2-26 weeks. They all returned to full health-.His seemed to be called a slight tear. Most of the articles sufferers had a walking boot at first.
This is going to be awhile.
