Not a sexy name by any means, but the guy can flat-out shoot. I think a weakness we're going to have off the bench, assuming we keep our remaining contributors, is perimeter shooting/spacing. Harris shot 41.9% from 3's (49.1% overall - 10.8 PPG) and also shot 47.3% on wide open 3's. The last number is huge, especially with the amount of wide open shots a player like Harris would get in our system and playing off of Irving, Hayward, Horford, and Tatum (maybe even Brown depending on his off-season improvement).
Here's what some of our guys, who received rotational minutes, shot from distance during the season and then in the playoffs:
Smart 36.7 22.1
Rozier 38.1 34.7
Morris 36.8 41.7
Ojeleye 32 27.3
Again, Harris isn't a star, but the key is identifying a good system piece that would flourish playing a specific role. Harris is still only 26 (turning 27 by the start of the year), so his best days are still ahead of him, can shoot, moves extremely well without the ball, is a willing passer, and although not a good defender, he's a smart player overall and I think he could be a decent team defender.
A lot of things to like. Now imagine him playing with our starters. The spacing alone he would provide would be extremely beneficial.
