Based on everything I've been hearing in Chicago Paul Gasol is on the market because they feel they need a skilled wing player. Thankfully we have an abundance of perimeter talent and the first player that comes to mind that would fit very well would be Avery Bradley. Once Marcus Smart comes back he could slip right in as the 2 guard. We could send a package of:

Chicago Bulls receive:
F/C Kelly Olynyk
SG Avery Bradley
G/F James Young
1st round pick (via Minnesota Timberwolves)

Boston Celtics receive:
F/C Paul Gasol
and
G/F Tony Snell

For Pau? Absolutely not after watching that Nets game.  I'd rather have Kelly

I would have love Pau with the big three team. He doesn't fit the uptempo BS style.

Not sure what's the fascination in this board for acquiring players in the last year of their contract, while giving up cost-controlled good players and assets.

If we already had 2 in-their-prime stars, I'd love to add Pau.  Not now.

Exactly.  I love Gasol's game and it would be awesome to have him on the Celtics but I couldn't justify losing a young guy with a lot of potential like Olynyk.

No thank you. I don't think Pau is all that more useful to us than Sully at this moment.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

He's still surprisingly very good, but he's old and a FA at year's end. Pass.

We need to be adding younger nucleus pieces - not Pau or Melo types.

You don't think we have enough bigs with a similar skill set on the roster?  We need guys at the 2/3.  There already aren't enough minutes to go around up front.

Not to mention overrated players.  Gasol of course used to be good but at this point I'll take KO.

A terrible move--yikes!

I wouldn't trade AB for Pau but maybe some sort of 3 team deal? The 2s and 3s we have that whey would want I want to keep.

Thankfully you are not Danny Ainge. Why do you people undervalue our players and overvalue players that they consistently outperform and beat on the floor? That haul for Pau Gasol? Are you trying to outKing Billy King?
