We won despite a bad performance from behind the arc 6/27 (22%)
I really like this, CBS knows how to win ugly games  ;D

exactly. if it is a close game, advantage goes to CBS. what a coach. and tonight the celtics executed the plays he drew up.

and turner played out of control but pulled it off. ha, ha.
This is hilarious. Stevens did everything possible to botch the game in the last minute, starting with poor clock management on Turner's jump shot. We got a couple of lucky breaks with out of bounds plays. And we won on a Jae Crowder contested long jumper -- sorry, not my idea of a high percentage play.

I mean, I'll take the win, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Dude ......smh .....wow ....Debbie downer

Did the Raptors get a shot off or anything, because the game suddenly stopped streaming.  I know we won, but I'm just curious.

The best thing- Stevens' play worked perfectly. Hansbrough doubled, and Zeller was wide open for a layup.

Thanks, TP. :) And to think it ended with Turner making a game-saving defensive play...wait, what, lol? ;D

Sorry, that wasn't a set play, we were scrambling after an offensive rebound. But of course, it worked "perfectly" because it ended up being a basket...

You say leaving Thomas out there was a mistake and CBS got lucky. I say he did the right thing by noticing they weren't exploiting the match-up and leaving him out there... he was actually holding his own denying the ball.

I mean, let's think about what you are saying, CBS would have had to lose him mind temporarily to leave him out there because he pulls him every other game in those moments. So either you believe that or CBS made the correct call.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I meant the inbounds play with 2.8 seconds left. The one you knocked because it ended in a low-percentage shot. There's more there than the result. The pass by Marcus? It could've been a better decision, but the play was excellent.

Except it ended up being a contested Crowder shot instead?!

I guess Wallace is more amazed than anyone .  He figured he was on the better team of Nets and then traded ......he was down and you could tell..couple years back....but ironic .....the Celtics turn out to be a better team than he had .  Nets plan fails
lol
he s not happy and it shows...
i was looking for his reaction in the IT4 crazy pass to Jerebko for 3...
everybody on our bench went bananas and Wallace was sitting indifferent on his chair...
I don't have anything against the guy, and it is only natural for a veteran with 6 playoff appearances to feel alienated from a team of youngsters getting excited for their firs playoff appearance.
But it did look comical  ;D

Yes, but you accused Stevens of "botching the game," and you included that inbounds play in your argument. You knocked it because it ended in a low-percentage shot. There's more there than the result. The pass by Marcus? It could've been a better decision, but the play was excellent.

I love this team! The debbie downers and what have you can have their Sixers and their Noels and their Paytons and they can even say Jordan clarkson is better than Smart. but this team is fun to, watch, full of clutch players, Stevens is a stud, Crowder, Smart etc bleed Green and even if they get swept in Cleveland losing each game by 40 this season, at least the second half has been an absolute blast.  No Sixers fan or Knicks or Lakers fan can say that.

Touche, sir, touche. ;D TP.
