It's going to be tough for a lot of these guys playing today. Many will be playing with a very heavy heart that their childhood idol is dead. I am sure Ball, Ingram and Hart had to have met and interacted with Kobe while they where in LA. Tatum trained with Kobe over a summer. Guys(Moore, Holiday, Favors, Kanter, Kemba, Smart) on both sides played against him.

Might be a rough night for the NBA. I expect to see lots of tears across the league tonight.

Yeah I don't care about this game anymore. It's got to be tougher on the players having to play through this. Even in the Rockets-Nuggets game you can tell these guys are just going through the motions and not trying (and who could blame them). At one point, Chandler was just shaking his head in disbelief while the opposing player ran by him for a layup

I hope instead of playing the game with a heavy heart. The players go out and out on a show. Play their hearts out and have fun in respect to Home and the heart determination and fun he brought to the game. All players and fans need a little bright spot in such a gloomy day in the NBA world.

Let's go C's!

Good on both of these teams for the display of respect.

I don't think many who saw it will ever forget Bryant scorching an in-his-prime Gordon Hayward for 60 points on the last game of his NBA career.

He was a true star.
