I really hope they can sign another vet for the deep bench before the playoffs. Does having the empty slot for the last month of the season and the playoffs add a crazy amount of money due to the tax?

I think it'll just be Drew Peterson

I would have thought Theis possibly but he's in Europe now. Not sure who else is possible.

I agree that it will be Peterson, signed right before the playoffs.

I think I'd be fine with Peterson if there isn't a solid older vet out there that we could pick up.

I think we're only gonna go with an 8 or 9 man rotation by playoff time so I guess the 15th roster spot won't be needed? They can prob use it for the reg season though.

I see no need to fill the 15th slot.

It could be useful to think of in terms of getting a look at or head start for a player that may be more helpful in the future. Get a player acclimated to the team for next year.

I believe so. Some might be in negotiations with other teams already. I'm also not sure about their health.... Theis signed in Europe so probably unavailable... Reading up on Larry Nance Jr. and found he's injured and may still be with the Hawks...

Right.  It also gives us a chance to sign that player to a three year deal next season, controlling costs.

Dang. He was the most intriguing of the bunch for me.
What about Bailey?

Looks like Boucher is staying in Toronto. He would have been the most interesting in that list.

Sorry, mistyped. Meant Marvin Bagley. But quick looking on my own he might be injured and garbage.
