Jayson Tatum's versatility was on full display late. He was guarding Chris Paul, and then switched on to Steven Adams and got a rebound over him. Then he dribbled it up the court against Chris Paul.

In fairness, dribbling against CP didn’t go as well...

Yeah. Cp3 used to lead the league in steals for a couple of seasons.

Team has weapons.  And I am warming up to Theis/Kanter as legit and Bob playing 5-10 fresh minutes.  Need to see them more v. Giannis and Embiid and LAL... But OKC got some decent size and C's handled it pretty well that 2nd half.

17/19/5 from Theis/Kanter

I was too busy making sure the Gordon Ramsey videos were running in the background. There was a play where he dribbled up against Paul and initiated the offense without a turnover.

I must have missed the one where he turned it over. I did not realize the irony of my statement.

  • GOT IT!!!
Kinda felt like some guys were trying to be closers and it didn’t go to well. Made all the 50/50 plays late to win it though.

Hard-fought win against a very good team on the road.  Good stuff.

Last few minutes were tense, though.  Need to clean that up.

The turnovers in the last minute are fixable.  Definitely need to address it, but great to get this win to start this tough stretch.

And maybe... maybe... no one was hurt?

That Alexander guy was killing us 26 points, got the ball moved up the court and...then Marcus put a stop to it.

Brown was limping a bit earlier.

In the last 2 minutes of each quarter, total 8 minutes, OKC outscored the Celtics 32-8. In the other 40 minutes, the Celtics outscored OKC 114-79.

There was one point in the 2d half when he was on his back under the basket after time was called, yelling. Got up and limped off.  Looked like he was frustrated to have tweaked it again. As much as I want the next two, I’d rather be get well. Hope they give him the time if he needs it.

Crazy stat. Definitely matches the eye test. We got tight and scrambly at the end.

I agree.  If his ankle needs rest, give it to him now, and over the all star break.  Get us healthy for the stretch run.  Gotta give a big push for that #2 seed.

I don't want him playing legitimately injured, but he is going to have the All-Star break to chill and rest; I'd rather Jaylen play if he can - as long as he isn't more likely to get injured. Regardless of what happens, at least we came up with a big win today.
