The coach of south africa C.A.Pareira coaches in a WC for 5th time , with 5 different teams! There is another coach who`s done this. Anyone remembers him ??

Also there are two players that played in 5 WCs. Who ?
The coach is Bora Milutinovic. He always used to take samll teams.

One of the players has to be Matthaeus (sp).
The Immortals:

Iker Casillas, Giacinto Facchetti, Alessandro Nesta, Matthias Sammer, Javier Zanetti, Lothar Matthäus (c), Xavi, Zico, Maradona, Roberto Baggio, Ferenc Puskas, Karl Heinz Rummenigge

I` ve turned the volume down. I can`t stand this sound either. It`s a kind of traditional horn. many teams complained about this caus it bothers the players too.

It`s Milutinovic , Matthaus and the second player is the mexican keeper Antonio Carbajal

Good start to the cup. South Africa is speedy as they come and have some great flair to work with. Mexico was decent also. Nice to so Blanco still running around at 38yrs old!  :o

Without surprises it would be Brazil - England  and Spain - Argentina in the semis, but since the most predictable almost never happens, I will go for:

Holland Denmark - England

Spain - Germany

Fixed  ;D

No, not really but I am looking forward to this anyway. I think we will surprise the Dutch on Monday.

Had to mute the sound on the France-Uruguay match. The buzzing is driving me insane.

The buzzing will probably keep me from watching most matches.

I don't like the spacing of the Uruguay defenders in their own zone. Thye appear to be sending to many people toward the ball and leaving way to much open space for off the ball French players. This is especially true when France crosses the field in the offensive end. Uruguay is leaving the middle exposed and the far side wide open.

They keep this up and this will get ugly fast.

Uruguay is known for their bunching and clotting, and it's very easy to take advantage of ... I'm surprised they're still doing it so much.

BTW, I expect Germany to perform well (they always do).  They played my country (Bosnia) in a friendly the other day and won 3-1 . Given they won because of 2 garbage penalties but still, Bosnia is a rising side with some young talent and they still pulled out a victory with their machine like passing and accuracy.
