Paul would be worn down completely by mid-season chasing 2-guards around screens etc.  He'd only be able to play 20mpg at that position at the most.  Right now, he's the closest thing to a SG we have on the roster.

Wouldn't be that much of a difference offensively either.  Paul can shoot over 3s.  He'd have a harder time driving against 2s

It would open up his post game though both in the low post and mid post areas. Make him a more effective isolation player so long as he catches the ball 16 feet and under.
