We're talking about the same guy that couldn't decide whether he'd want to be the 3rd option on a contending team or the #1 option on a mediocre team?

I'm pretty sure that he said he'd rather be the #1 option on a bad team.

Okay, I guess I was giving him too much credit.

Marion is a bad fit as it gives you two sf in Pierce and Marion.

Sean Marion. Straight up. Or if they want throw in Baby, Walker, Or Pruitt. One or two of those guys.

Miami gets Ray to space the floor For Wade And Beasley.

Marion and Wade together is a bad fit. There both Suspect Shooters from outside. And you could definitely play all 3 together. Also Big baby would add some depth to the frontcourt.

We get Marion, a guy who runs and jumps like a dear. Not the shooter Ray is, but A much better defender, 3 years younger, and one of the best rebounding small Forwards of the modern error.

I think he would fit in perfect here. Out of the Big 3. One guy has to know he's the clear 3rd option. And That's perfect for a guy like marion. And ray would be a better 2nd option for the heat.

We would be a better Defensive team, And a much better rebounding team Which is Scary.
Again the Matrix is the perfect 3rd option, he can focus on what he does best. And just take the offense that comes to him.

So now are S.F. problem is all set. He also can play as a Small power forward like Posey. And now are only thing we need is a Back up Shooting guard. It makes us a little bigger overall.

oh yea and Danny get's Chalmers from them too at the last moment.

Dwayne?  Dwayne Wade?  Is that you?
Good food, like good music and good love, always requires a little sweat in the making in order for it to be truly memorable.

So you want to trade the prototypical shooting guard for a small forward. So you want to trade a guy who specializes in what we need for a guy who does nothing that we need. So you want to trade Ray Allen for Sean Marion, are we trading Pierce too? Last time I checked Marion & Pierce play the same position. So you want to trade tha Jesus!? The dude does not abide! So you want to trade the player with the prettiest shot in the league for a player who looks like a diseased chicken when he shoots. The person who started this thread scares me, cause I think hes serious, or hes just really good at acting serious to mess with people. Either way, why oh why?!?!

How does everyone forget so quickly how crucial Ray was in the Lakers series?
Ray is capable of offensive perfection at times and even when he is "off",
he still brings leadership, ball handling and the threat of a deep three every time
he steps on the court.  Defenses have to game plan to contain Ray, which is more than you can say about marion and most other players considered ray's peers.  I'll say it again, he is just too good a fit here to let go without getting someone really special in return :P

The Celtics should not sell Ray if his value is on a low swing.
