Yup
I was only to watch the last 28 seconds of this game (just after Scals big 3). I followed most of the 2nd half on line, but still I don't feel like I can give much of an opinion on the action. But what the hell, I'll do it anyhow!
Any win's a good win without KG, and you've got to be happy for Scals coming up large with a big 3 from the corner to hold off the Knickerbockers. Sounds like Perk had a nice night, and Rondo put up some decent scoring numbers (Did he hit any jumpers? - I'm asking)...
My votes: Perk 3, Scals 2, PP 1
If you need an explanation on the poll, make up your own rules and enjoy.

This is like the third time I ever voted in these threads(I know bad, Celticblogger, bad boy) but I had to tonight after watching and ummm listening to tonight's game.
Scal was the best player on the floor in that final minute and a half and from the sounds of it he was key in helping to push the lead towards 14 or 15 in the third. I also thought he did a good job defensively tonight and just really helped to fill the void. Put it to you this way. Scal lays an egg and this team may have lost. That says MVP to me.

Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
This isn't random at all: Scal - 3, Perk - 2, Powe - 1
Of course, that leaves out Paul, Rondo, Ray, and everyone else who put in a solid outing.

Perk and Rondo - 2
Scal and PP - 1
Overall a solid effort by everyone on the team. Only a poor shooting fourth quarter kept it from a blowout. Perk did a great job of making the Knicks pay for playing smaller players on him.
Redz, Rondo did make a nice pull up jumper from 18 feet off the dribble. He attempted three more, those were uglier shots. He had a very good game overall though.
Scal finally took some shots in the flow of the offense and made a couple of big ones. He also defended and boxed out well.
Pierce had a solid game as well.

I should have given Baby a point vote simply for making three outside shots tonight. Anyone remember that thread last summer where the discussion was about who would eventually have a better outside shot Powe or Baby? I guess we now know that answer.

I believe Perkins was the MVP tonight. Really nice buckets in the post tonight along with great defense and some really big offensive rebounds. He had his way all game.
Perk-3, PP-2, Scal-1

Let's Go Celtics
Perk 3, Rondo 2, Scal 1.
I don't think I've ever not had one of the Big 3 as an MVP since they were assembled last year. Even though KG wasn't playing, it feels pretty good.

Two to Perk, one each to PP, Rondo, Leon and Scal. I don't even think that covers all of the people that stood out in this game - it really was a team game - but that's the best I can do with 6 points.

Id have to give it to my boy Scal for coming in and filling in for KG. His defense, hustle, and clutch three pointer really helped the team tonight. Second would have to be Rondo because I saw him make two layups (this is a big step for Rondo), and third would have to go to Perk for being a beast and dominating the weak big men of the Knicks.
3-Scal 2- Rondo 1- Perk

Well spread out voting on this one. A groundswelling of support for Scals was not enough to put him over the top of Perk and Rondo in this one, but a 2nd straight show will do nicely for #44.
