Danny has wanted this guy from day 1. I still think like Harrison Barnes he has untapped potential and needs to play for a better team.

The Kings have talented played but need better leaders on their team.  Guys willing to do some dirty work.

Trade idea

To Kings: Sullinger, Jerebko, Zeller, Turner, AB, Nets 1st round pick, future 1st, 2 2nds
To Celtics: Mclemore, WCS, Moreland, Curry

Kings lineup

Cousins
Sullinger
Gay
AB
Rondo

Koufus
Jerebko/Zeller
Turner
Belinelli
Collison

Celtics lineup

Amir
KO
Mclemore
Smart
IT

Lee
WCS/Mickey
Crowder
Hunter/Young
Rozier/Curry

why Kings do the trade: Add maturity to the lineup.  Sullinger and AB would be a nice boost. Turner, Jerebko, Zeller are solid additions to the bench.

why Celtics do the trade:  Nets are playing strong basketball for their pick to be anywhere near as good as we expect it to be.  Mclemore and WCS are players danny has been eyeing since day 1.  Mclemore has all star potential.  Similar player to Harrison Barnes , and in the right environment could become a very nice player.  WCS has ways to go, but in time could be a defensive force

That's a ton to give up for a couple guys who project as nice role players, but not much more than that.

Yup, Sullinger, AB, Zeller, two 1sts, and a 2nd?

Lets be honest, that would never ever happen.

I think you are wildly overrating McLemore. I don't see him as an upgrade from Crowder at the 3.

I'm not positive I'd do Sully, Zeller and AB for McLeMore and WCS. I am sure I wouldn't include 2 firsts in that deal.

DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

McLemore's regressed this year and is playing fewer minutes per game. Shoots OK and does nothing else well and many things poorly including TOs and defense. Not trading the rest for WCS, who is just OK so far.

WCS would do so many things to help our bigs, particularly Sully and Kelly, on both ends of the floor, but I think the Celts are overpaying here. I like the idea of a 3-man big platoon of Sullinger, WCS and Kelly, with all playing around 30 mins a game. What about:

To Kings: AB, RJ Hunter, 2016 BOS 1

To Celts: WCS, McLemore

IT/Rozier
Smart/McLemore/J. Young
Crowder/Turner/[McLemore]
WCS/Olynyk/Mickey
Sullinger/[WCS]

Aggressively explore moves with Amir, Lee, Jerebko's contracts for bad deals and collect picks as compensation. Imagine our team if we were able to get Jaylen Brown with the Nets pick:

IT/Rozier
Smart/McLemore/J. Young
Jaylen Brown/Crowder/Turner
WCS/Olynyk/Mickey
Sullinger/[WCS]

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.

The obvious intention and motivation of the trade idea proposed here is to give KO the starting spot once again in our roster. And of course, to give Mickey a spot on the bench. O.o

I love how you have trading all that for basically 2 players, but then have WCS and Mickey battling it out for minutes on the second team. Awesome stuff!

I agree. He's barely a step up from James Young. Dude doesn't have much game. He gets to play because the Kings don't have depth.

I don't think I can get behind a trade idea where we give up the two best players in the deal and draft picks.

Avery Bradley as a "Throw In"....the way Bradley has played this season---there are very few players I would trade him for---unless it was a Star player.
