I still don't understand why we haven't use Semi Ojeleye at all on Giannis..

And why the heck, does Irving KEEP SWITCHING ON GIANNIS?

Hayward, at this moment, hurts the team. Watch his minutes. The other team doesn't even bother with him and why should they?

As I said before, he drives to pass, not to score. Everyone knows it.
2021 Houston Rockets

SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Start:

Horford
Irving
Smart
Morris
Brown

Put Smart on Giannis, play him one on one, no help.  Marcus can stay in front of him better than anyone, and can get Giannis into early foul trouble.

Bench:

Hayward
Tatum
Baynes

The adjustments I would like to see happen, probably won't happen. With few exceptions, the Celtics this year have failed to make adjustments and play as a TEAM. I place the blame firmly on Stevens. I don't blame Stevens entirely for the disappointing season. Kyrie has been a disruptive force on and off the court. It's not a coincidence that last year's team did so well without Kyrie. Talent alone doesn't usually win ball games. The Celtics need to adjust by improving their shot selection... stop chucking up so many 3's, whether it's open 3's or contested 3's;get more points in the paint by posting up Horford, Tatum and Morris and cutting for easier buckets; play defense as a team that shows energy and commitment; block out opponents better when rebounding; Kyrie trusting  his team mates more by being a creative facilitator... instead of driving and then passing the ball out to the 3 point line when his shot is not there; Stevens holding players accountable.

At this point I want to see Rozier play 0 minutes. If he does it's clear Brads personal liking of him has clouded his judgement.

I'd also like to see Ojeleye play

I have a question. Is Baynes still hurt?

He played 7 minutes in Game 4 and just 2 whole minutes in Game 3.

Without Baynes giving us at least 10-15 minutes a game it becomes difficult for our front court going up against Giannis for much of the game. In a way, Baynes represents "6 fouls" to give on him but if he's barely on the court then yeah, it hurts our team. Also one of our better defenders out there.

We need to play Baynes a bit more, and also Wanamaker. Sorry but Rozier cannot be getting the minutes he is this series. Give some to Wanamaker and see what he can do.

It reminds me of the 2017 playoffs when we plugged in Gerald Green at times and he gave us some big scoring sparks along the way. That was all he did in the playoffs in the few games he played (quick 5-7 minute scoring spurts off the bench) but it affected the outcome in a few games. Maybe Wanamaker (and less Rozier) helps the team tonight?

Unfortunately I don't know if CBS is willing to do it. He's being out-coached by Bud and stubbornly sticking to the same gameplan/rotations for the most part.

Really simple. If 3's aren't falling . ATTACK, ATTACK , ATTACK the Basket!! Get physical and battle down low. Let Giannis to his thing , shut down everyone else.

This. Everyone is all obsessed about rotations but winning in the playoffs is about a mentality.

Also, everyone on here wanting Rozier to have 0 minutes but then also give minutes to Ojeleye and Williams need a reality check. Giannis, Middleton, Bledsoe, Hill would all abuse Williams. They are too smart for him.
