The adjustments I would like to see happen, probably won't happen. With few exceptions, the Celtics this year have failed to make adjustments and play as a TEAM. I place the blame firmly on Stevens. I don't blame Stevens entirely for the disappointing season. Kyrie has been a disruptive force on and off the court. It's not a coincidence that last year's team did so well without Kyrie. Talent alone doesn't usually win ball games. The Celtics need to adjust by improving their shot selection... stop chucking up so many 3's, whether it's open 3's or contested 3's;get more points in the paint by posting up Horford, Tatum and Morris and cutting for easier buckets; play defense as a team that shows energy and commitment; block out opponents better when rebounding; Kyrie trusting his team mates more by being a creative facilitator... instead of driving and then passing the ball out to the 3 point line when his shot is not there; Stevens holding players accountable.
