Yea Doc!! Coaching the all star game, well deserved.

Yeah congrats to Doc, he's been great dealing with all the injuries to this team. Definitely should be in the running for COY (with Thibs and Pop).

Finally got to hear a game called by Bill Walton and I have to say I really enjoyed it.

It was a good no nonsense win for the Celtics coming back from 9 down and able to settle down and play defense, force turnovers and control the glass at both ends. The Celtics got the pace under control probably down to 85 to 90 possessions a game more to their liking. 1st half was way too fast and the Celtics made turnovers which led to easy baskets for the KIngs especially in the 2nd quarter.

I am not sure how the Kings will finish up but I think they could help us in the overall standings by knocking off strong teams down the stretch.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Good win! We got an early lead, the 2nd unit blew it away and I was kind of worried when we were down 9 although I know we always play better in the 2nd Half. The 3rd and 4th quarters were a beauty. I was surprised to see Doc play Nate in the 4th in place of Rondo, especially since Nate still can't shoot the ball at a decent % (looks like his L.A game was a fluke) but he made good decisions, good passes and drove to the basket easily (why doesn't he do that more often?!).

Rondo was more aggressive than usual, I liked that, although you can see the refs don't give him any respect since there were a lot of blatant fouls that were not called.

3-1 on the road-trip and back home, where Ray will beat the record. Nice! 8)

Who would you rather be playing right now: Nate or Wafer?

Nate's been taking open shots but missing. Wafer's been missin rotations and throwing up contested layups in the lane. i'd still take Nate.
Nate's hustling, the only thing I want him to do more is attack the basket. He's gotten into playing Ray Allen's role on offense. He can get little layups more often.

Couldn't watch the game, but it sounds like you got what you asked for!  Good call and let's keep reminding him.....you're right, he can and should drive to the hoop more and he's good at it.  Might help turn around his jumper as well.

The back home bit might be a problem!

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

I missed the game but saw we won. Just a few things I saw on the box score

R. Allen  22pts    6rebs(3off)    2asts     1to
R. Rondo  17pts    2rebs(1off)    10asts    4tos   4stls
N. Robinson 4pts   4rebs(1off)    2asts     1to    5stls

Also seems that Davis played a decent game with 14 points but only 4 rebs. Good game it seemed, probably a close one throughout. Nate seemed to make better decisions out there and hustled. He only took 7 shots and got 5 steals. Rondo has his typical double double. Looks like we shut down Casspi who really can get it going and kept him at 8 points. Bring on the next game.

It wasn't the greatest effort of the season, but defensively in the 2nd half they did enough.  Udrih was held to 2-10, Dalembert somehow kept shooting contested shots he kept missing.

Another excellent rebounding effort.

Good job, now to find a suitable flight schedule back!

Ray's only 8 away from tying Reggie and 9 from breaking it.  Though it's unlikely (as he'd have to hit 9 3s in the next 2 games), he could break it on national TV this Sunday against the Magic.

They way he is shooting he could get all 9 on Friday.

Fun game.  That Kings team is pretty scrappy.  I don't know what's happened to Tyreke Evans, though.  Last year, he looked like he was on his way to being a top 10 superstar in this league.  Not so much right now.

hes been very injuried all year
and he deppends on his athleticism too much
he will pull it together if he feels better.

This is basically as good as it gets at the TD Garden until April. After the Miami game, we host just two teams currently above .500 (Memphis, one game over, and NY, the last game of the season that likely won't mean much for either team).

There are some tough road games we have left (SAS, MIA, CHI, UTA, DEN, NOH, ATL), but the home schedule looks extremely soft in the second half.
