Per Woj, Tony Parker 2yr/10M deal with Charlotte.

Could this help placate Kawhi?

Strange signing for both parties.

Don’t get why Charlotte would want Parker, or why Parker would leave SAS.

[dang] that's a surprise for me, thought him and Giniobli would retire as Spurs

Confusing...why would Parker leave the Spurs and why he go to a non playoff team
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark

Charlotte just wants to make the playoffs and hopes they can re-sign Kemba.  Parker is probably getting more money and more playing time than he'd get with the Spurs.  He may also think Charlotte has better playoff chances in the East than a Kawhi-less Spurs do in the West.

My guess is also probably familiarity with James Borrego being the head coach of the Hornets.

Still doesn't make any sense... They needed to either get younger, bring in talented players, or shooters.

Parker... Is neither of the above. Solid vet presence, but what can he bring to the table?

That's your problem.  Expecting Charlotte's moves to make sense.  Charlotte is going after the dumbest franchise in the league.  Now let's see how the Kings respond.

Well... If I was a Charlotte fan, I would have another problem....

The Sixers have acquired my draft binky Bonga from the Lakers!

He’s a Laker now

Deja vu 🤭, all over again, as Yogi Berra used to say. (See Game thread, page 2)

RFA Zach LaVine has agreed to a four-year, $80M offer sheet with the Sacramento Kings, league sources tell Yahoo. The Chicago Bulls have 48 hours to match.

I wouldn’t touch that contract but Chicago traded for him.

Lavine can either be a special player similar to Kevin Martin, except more explosive, but will probably still be a terrible defender... Question is can his offense make up for his underlying weakness on the defensive end?
