So the reigning MVP is eliminated after getting 2 other all-stars to play with.  Hope he likes scoring 40 on bad teams since that's what's gonna happen for years to come since nobody will want to

Playing devils advocate  here was there anyone to pass too ? PG went 2/16 !

A point guard's job is to keep his shooters in rhythm. Westbrook alone shot 43 FGA with the rest only taking 50 as a whole team. That's inexcusable, especially for a guard with inconsistent outside shot.

Yep.  I didn't get to see the game but even the box score looks like a ridiculous joke.  Can we say that Donovan Mitchell is better than the MVP of the league?  I'd love Mitchell on my team but I wouldn't take Westbrook for free.

Westbrook is really the biggest enigma in the NBA.  He has certain qualities that you would want in any superstar player.  Up until the past few seasons he was one of my favorites because I appreciated his insane competitiveness and desire to win.  At this point he is awful to watch.

In big games it seems like his adrenaline and emotions completely take over, for better or worse.  It's almost like he blacks out in tight games and loses the ability to understand situational basketball.  Unfortunately we are reaching the point where his prime years are almost over.  He is in desperate need of a coach who is willing to challenge him behind closed doors.  I think the OKC organization has been afraid to confront him after Durant left.

As a lakers fan, I wish George had a little more athleticism, but you'd be dumb not to try and get him (even at the max).

A little more athleticism? :o Dude's long been one of the best athletes in the league, even after his injury. I do wish that he'd return to Indiana, however.

It's also the job of the point guard to get better looks/shots for his teammates so as to get them going, which is a role in which Westbrook has never excelled.

Yeah, like how to look interested in a game when you know your teammate is going to rack up 30-45 shots in a game. It will serve him well when he joins up with Lebron in LA.

Kevin Durant putting up points early in the 1st.

Looks like a high-scoring game between Pelicans and Warriors, closely contested.

Pelicans hanging on so far. But I fear that Warrior's depth is too much for Pels to handle.

Playoff Rondo with 4 points, 5 assists, and 3 boards in the 1st quarter. This is going to be a good game.

If there's a game for the Pelicans to steal, THIS IS the game.

Yeah, that doesn't diminish Rondo's stats. Its not like Curry is going to play shut-down D on him

Even with playoff Rondo and AD, there's only much they can do with the paper thin bench.

While that certainly doesn't help, their lack of size, particularly at small forward, is really hurting them in the rebounding department.
