I’d like to see Miami send Adebayo and Herro to get KD. Enough to compromise their future without really scaring me next year.

The Boston trade is by far the best one of the options, so I chose that one…even though it isn’t likely available.

It will be interesting to see the final deal. Gobert going for 5 1sts rounders and 3 rotation players should at least be a baseline

Agree. I've felt lately like I'm living in some twisted alternate universe.

Brown - Aka the 2nd best player in the Finals -  is BY FAR the best player the Nets could get for a 34-year old Durant. Tyler Herro? Lol. Ayton? Dude plays like a relic. Brown is a force who could be unstoppable with a couple tweaks to his game.

And yet there are trade proposals where we are sending off Brown PLUS another starter PLUS multiple first rounders. For a declining player we just smothered in the first round.

Are you kidding me?!?

Agreed we should be getting picks and KD if we gave up Brown. A 25 year old allstar fresh off his first finals!

From what I understand they can’t trade Bam to Brooklyn due to some strange rule. I forget if he could be included in a 3 team deal. Boy NBA rules are ridiculous. Have a hard cap. Make things simple.

Yeah, that is correct. They need to get rid of Simmons first..if that shoe drops, I fear Durant is going to Heat. I hope they dont find way to get Jazz involved but hope Ainge does not help set up Heat too.

If we get a call and they say Durant is to Heat unless you give us Brown and Smart, I wonder what we do.

But the Nets would be shooting themselves in the foot. Simmons' value is at an all-time low now. And Brooklyn has no reason to tank. Why dump him for peanuts just to make a very mediocre trade with the Heat?

Butler and KD is a lot to contend with along with complimentary guys who can shoot the 3.

KD may not have long left. He'll turn 34 before this coming season, and he's already having issues missing games. People see Lebron playing at a high level in his late 30s, but LBJ is built like a tank. KD isn't.

Only way I'm giving up JB is if he's disgruntled, and even then, I'm not giving the Nets any boot in such a trade.

Would you give up JB if it were a 3 team deal with no picks going out or coming in.  The C's would have their Al replacement.

Boston - Out Jaylen Brown, In Bam Adebayo
Brooklyn Out - KD, In - Jaylen Brown, Duncan Robinson - 3 1st and 2 pick swaps
Miami Out - Duncan Robinson, Bam Adebayo - 3 1st and 2 pick swaps , In Durant

Boston Roster
PG Smart, Payton Pritchard
SG Brogdon, Derrick White
SF Jayson tatum, Gallo
PF Bam Adebayo, Grant Williams
C Rob Williams, Al Horford

The Nets cannot do that trade. They cannot trade for two players that each have a designated rookie max.

From another thread

I rate that as the best package available for Durant.

I'd pick that over Jaylen for Durant. Jaylen is the best individual talent being talked about but GSW's combination of 3 prospects, 3 #1s and Wiggins is a better overall deal.

BOS and GSW are my two favourite trade packages depending on what is being valued more - top individual talent or best package of youth & picks for rebuild.

They are the only two deals that really interest me. They stand out from the rest.

Next best are MEM and then MIA.

Sooner they get rid of him the better and all their front office dummies.
