Can Gallo still shoot/stretch the floor? If so, he’d be a huge get off the bench. C’s need role players. If Gallo was as good as he was in his years ago, he isn’t going to be available at the price and role we can afford him

I’d love him for the vet min. The full MLE, not so much.

The names that've been thrown around for the MLE spot are a lot more enticing. Maybe none of them want to come to Boston, but if so, thats a big letdown.

Gives us a stretch four rebounding option. Shame his D is terrible

If he could play D, he'd be out of our price range.

Whoever we get with the TMLE is gonna be flawed.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

From Keith Smith’s list of guys probably available for the MLE, I’d rank several well ahead of Gallo. I’m not measuring him against all stars.

Half of these guys have already signed.  I’m sure Brad is doing what he can and Gallo is not a bad option considering our needs.

His list wasn't that realistic. A big chunk of those guys have already signed for above the TMLE. But he's not an insider, he's a fan who's done a great job of learning capology and spinning it into a career.

I'd much rather Warren over Gallo.  If it's true he's fully healthy he's one that can make this bench much better.

I haven’t seen any rumors about Warren though. Is he even ready to play at the start of the season?

Edit: I just googled and apparently a handful of teams are interested so the price might be out of our league?

Looks like Gallo is favoring contract length over role. Will the Cs be willing to give him a 2 year deal like the Bulls are offering?

Two years isn't so bad. Could be useful in a trade. Gallo would be a good addition, and nice offense off the bench for the Cs.
Celtics fan for life.

I agree.  There aren’t going to be many players who fit our needs for $6.5 million.

I don’t think Warren or Brown will take the TMLE.
