Doncic is a stud. One of the biggest questions was can he shoot well from NBA range three, and the answer so far is a resounding yes. Hard to believe the Hawks won’t end up regretting the Doncic-Young swap. Should have kept Schroeder and developed Doncic alongside.

Makes you wonder how good the Celtics would have been if the Philly pick conveyed and they would have selected Doncic. Oh what could have been.

This kid is amazing.  I don't care that he doesn't look like an elite athlete.  He knows how to play basketball.  His skill level and court smarts are ridiculous.

The Mavs totally robbed the foolish Hawks on this one.
NBA Officiating - Corrupt?  Incompetent?  Which is worse?  Does it matter?  It sucks.

Such an obvious first pick. We all knew he was amazing before game 1.

So far the kid looks like he deserved every bit of the hype.  Impressed.

He is really really good.  Offensively, he remains me of Larry Legend.  Great court vision and passing skills.

similar height weight and build, same slightly locked shoulders when he shoots the 3 as bird, same slight lack of athleticism, trick passes, good ability to rebound his own shot, etc

Bird 2.0

Kid Will enter his prime in 8-9 years. Imagine as he develops how much better he will be

D-Rose pulled the same move on Gobert in his 50 point game. I think the league has realized Gobert reacts very quickly to interior passing and that he can be faked out of position.

I try to watch some Mavs games, specifically to see him play. The kid is a stud. I was hoping Danny could have figured a way to trade up to get him.

BTW, his mom is a smoke show.

Better keep Delonte West away from the Mavs.

Expected.
He was the best player in this draft 2 years ago for me.
I'm glad he is confirming it.

It pains me that he doesn't play for us,  it I like the Mavs so I'm okay with it.

Truly special talent. I'd take him above Ben Simmons every day of the week
