Rondo is very effective in video games, especially if you develop his jumpshot (in association mode). It's pretty easy to abuse his speed and dunking ability to score in an aggressive fashion like Rondo almost never does in real life -- at least without getting knocked to the floor and banged up.
John Wall is much nastier, though, and he has a far more fluid jumpshot which is easier to improve. Generally it's pretty easy to rack up assists in video games even with score-first point guards, so playing as a floor general like Rondo seems unnecessary.
