The Bucks are appearing to be a whole different animal this year, no pun intended. Looking forward to see if Al can keep slowing down Giannis, and we can avoid a Middleton explosion from downtown.

A major factor will be Jaylen's status. No doubt the C's will proceed with caution, but having/not having him available tonight will be very important to the team's success.

Celtics 101, Bucks 95

I highly doubt we can hold the Bucks to 95 points.

We're I think 1/2 in defense, so a low-scoring game (by the current wildly distorted standards) seems pretty likely.
Other than Raptors we haven't played any top offensive team.
Teams we played rank 19-30 on offense.

That's possibly confounding though - is their offense poorly rated because they're bad at offense, or because they played good defensive teams like us? Especially with small sample sizes it can be hard to tell the difference.

Could the Bucks score 120 points tonight? Definitely. Are the Celtics going to win a game like that? In my opinion, not as likely.

Boston has been one of the best defensive teams in the league for awhile then, so it shouldn't be a huge surprise to see us win a game where we hold a solid team under 100 points.

The over-under that I saw was 222.

These little hiccups early in the season are a positive in many ways (assuming the injuries aren't serious).

It gives Stevens a chance to mix and match more, without worrying about offending people. I think we are very far from having our best lineup/rotation pattern identified.

This would be a nice game to win for our overall confidence. Also because I think they are waiting for us.

I  wouldn't be surprised if Semi gets some minutes to match up with Giannis, especially with Jaylen out of the lineup.  He did a commendable job in last years playoffs.

Hey guys, I'm back here regularly again!  ;D

Sorry I've been a bit busy recently (with life but also Red Sox in playoffs lol) but still followed the Celtics games along the way. I know it's been a shaky start but we still have managed to start 5-2 and a win tonight would really send a statement around the league. LETS GO C's!!

Kenny Smith is wrong. Kyrie won't have balls in his hands most of the time. They will feed the hot hand and there will be different players who will score most of the points in any given game.
