Good job by the Suns. If the Celtics got away with half the fouls masquerading as so called hustle plays like the Lakers, they'd probably have half as many losses than they do now.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Like Doc says, rather be healthy
than 1st seed. KG will fire us up.
Relax people. We ain't dead yet!

Then why is he burning out Pierce?  Does that only apply to KG?

For this game, it must be that Ray
was as cold as a penguin's behind
and Doc felt he needed Pierce out
there in the scheme of things. For
other games, I don't know.

KG needs to get back in the lineup.

yup. hard to expect ot win every game when you're missing your best player.

that said, a lot of people played terribly today. Powe needs more time with KG out, he's incredibly more efficient on offense and rebounding than any other big we have.

Hmmm...Disagree....Powe isnt efficient on offense and doesnt know how to shoot or pass the ball

ye aid feel alot more comfortable with that if leon would pass out of the low post when the double comes.

Well it's a relative term. of our possible bench replacements for KG, Powe is far and away the best rebounder and efficient scorer. I think we lost the game because of the stretch where we couldn't coralle any defensive rebounds and the pistons kept getting second chance points...not ending the possession at one shot just kills you. And we weren't getting to the line of offense, we really needed someone willing to mess it up inside...we were at home and we were being way outcalled for free throws; we didn't even give the refs a chance to even it up for us. He's not the best free throw shooter, but just getting to the line consistently and shooting 60 something percent makes him our most efficient scoring KG replacement.
