In honor the Lue thread, I thought I would create the sister thread.  The Browns have made Hue Jackson the first casualty of the NFL season.  He is now the 6th straight (non-interim) head coach to be fired directly after the 2nd Steelers game (in the last season with the job).  That starts with Romeo Crennel and continues through Eric Mangini, Pat Shurmur, Rod Chudzinski, Mike Pettine, and now Hue Jackson.  Cleveland has always had a Pittsburgh problem, but I still am surprised to see that string of firings as a direct result of a beat-down by the Steelers (often the second such beat-down of the season).
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Wow. Cleveland firing Lue and Hue. Probably a good time to get out of dodge for anyone named Sue.

The Browns have clearly made progress.  It seems like weird timing to me. Either fire him after going 1-31, or keep him through the season.

All sorts of internal problems going on in the organization.  Lots of infighting, no real discipline, etc.  Dorsey, especially, was worried that keeping the status quo would have significant long term negative implications, so he felt he had to make a change.  Haley was also canned so they are going in a completely new direction.
