I think C's win tonight but that its going to be close throughout. Ray Ray, KG and Rondo have played huge minutes thus far and I could see one or two of them having an off night from being tired.

Well, I hope KG doesn't have an off night.  That would imply that his first two games were good nights.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
I bet if we lose this game, every fan base besides ours will write us off.
I like Marcus Smart

#Celtics finally catch a break on the injury front. #Hornets guard Eric Gordon (knee) won't play tonight.

Well that makes things a lot easier for us.

I thought a majority of our own fan base had already written us off.

Well that's the way we like it.  Besides, I think they already wrote us off.

With no Gordon this should be an easy win. Hopefully JJJ and Moore get some PT.

The NBA nothing is a given...don't count your chickens before they hatch.

But , I give us a 50% chance anyways .....its alot of floortime for a bunch of 30 somethings./

Obviously anything can happen, but it will be very nice for Boston to finally not play against a team with at least two different guys who can take over a game at will. Eric Gordon is very good, but finally (like we will against many teams) Boston will have the clear-cut best player on the floor.

Jack will be returning from his 1 game suspension, so no more Belinelli at the point...unfortunately.

This game has me a little nervous.  If it weren't for all the variables surrounding this game i'd be very confident in a C's win, but the back-to-back, Pierce's heel, and the Hornet depth has me concerned.  I'm thinking maybe Doc plays the starters just a tad longer than he wants to tonight in order to secure that 1st W.
Sherrod was saying on SportsNet Central that Doc will actually go to his bench more tonight because the starters played a lot of minutes last night.

If we win this game and Rondo gets a quintuple double half the people on these forums will still write us off.

Well, if we lose tonight, I'm sure half the fan base will either switch affiliations or quit watching basketball forever. Losing three games is serious business.  ;D

i am going to maintain my pre-season prediction: #4 seed into the playoffs, second round exit.  That's just how i see the team.  I made that prediction after seeing the second pre-season game in person.  Our second team off the bench is lacking serious offense, and i only see our rotation 7 deep.  I hope they get better as the season goes on and they get some work in together since the entire second unit is pretty much new.
